Sunday April 14th 2019
Hyper Fauna @The Grayston Unity, Halifax, 3-6pm
Returning for the first event of 2019. Experimental ambience and sound made with instruments, objects and computers. A Sunday afternoon to sit, relax and think about the textures surrounding your ears.

Featuring Performances from:

Isnaj Dui
"I stand awkwardly between neo-impressionism and electronica, using concert and bass flutes, home-made dulcimers and electronics to create glitchy, experimental pieces." (Isnaj Dui)

She has had releases on Home Normal, Rural Colours and Smallfish amongst others. As well as gaining critical acclaim for Amacrine (Smallfish, 2007) and Dead Albatross Prize nominated Euplexia (Rural Colours, 2014).

Foetal Zulu:
Primarily works in creating soundscape, ambient and experimental electronic music. His music is developed from found sounds, synthesis and creating sound from alternate mediums.

Enki (live set):
By night Enki is a Drum and Bass DJ but for the day he has developed a live set from sampling breakdowns and ambient sounds from the tunes he likes to DJ creating an odd form of cinematic ambience that continually rises through out the set.
