I am a musician, printmaker and bookkeeper based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Since completing a BSc in Electronic Music in 2004 I have continued to write and record music, predominantly under my solo name Isnaj Dui and also with several bands including littlebow, The Sly & Unseen and The Doomed Bird of Providence. Classically trained on flute and cello, I have also studied electroacoustic music, alternative tunings and Balinese gamelan and enjoy continuing to learn with every new project.
I also work in visual arts, predominantly with relief print, and have designed several album covers over the past few years. Over the past eight years I have run arts and crafts workshops at Kings Place, London and The Tetley, Leeds. These workshops have included paper craft, musical instrument making and collage printing. I'm always on the lookout for freelance work so please contact me if it's of interest!
